CIEH members have the opportunity to join a number of specialist Communities. Exclusively for members, Communities are a great way to share best practice, guide our policy and campaigning and get support from colleagues.

Which Community is right for me?

We currently run five sector-focused Communities:

  • Environmental Protection
  • Food & Safety
  • Health & Safety
  • Housing
  • Public Health

Why join a Community?

Free to CIEH members, there are many benefits to joining a Community:

Professional development

  • Access to conferences, webinars and workshops designed to support continuing professional development.
  • Learn from your network peers and share best practice with other members.

Support and advice

  • High quality knowledge, products and services that are relevant to you.
  • Regular communications on each subject area, summarising key external developments and how you can get involved in our work.

Influence

  • Opportunities to influence policy and campaign development, influence our responses to Government and participate in projects.

Stakeholder engagement

CIEH also brings professionals together in specialist and stakeholder panels. These operate as focussed working groups and help us target professional and technical action. Current panels include:

  • National Pest Advisory Panel
  • Port Health Panel

You can sign up to Communities in the My Preferences section of MyCIEH.

If you would like to join a Panel, or would just like some more information, get in touch with us at [email protected] or 020 7827 5800.
