After finally finding a biscuit supplier who uses 100% recyclable packaging, we were delighted to discover that Border Biscuits have now removed all internal plastic packaging. The manufacturer had previously used recyclable packaging with an internal plastic tray to hold the biscuits, but they have now succeeded in removing these trays entirely, replacing them with packaging which is entirely biodegradable.

Although Border Biscuits packaging was formerly 100% recyclable, our supplier has made further eco-friendly strides by eliminating unnecessary plastic trays, which in turn has reduced the weight of packaging by 50%. This reduction means that twice the number of biscuit packets can be transported on pallets, lowering the carbon footprint of the business. Less plastic, less packaging and a reduction of carbon emissions make this product a great fit for the 15Hatfields venue.
