Convenzis exclusively took over our event spaces from 27-29 February 2024 to host three consecutive conferences. The Healthcare Connectivity Conference, The Health Estates Conference, and the Virtual Wards Conference each day brought together leaders from the NHS and healthcare sector.
The conferences explored a range of topics, including cutting-edge technology solutions, sustainability and net zero initiatives, the future of virtual wards and influencing healthcare policies – making them the go-to group of healthcare events in the calendar.
Convenzis, which specialises in helping UK public sector organisations collaborate and improve public-facing services, required a space to hold their three separate conferences consecutively within one week at the end of February.
Each conference needed a space that could accommodate a stage to afford a clear view and provide AV support to ensure the speakers could be heard.
Looking to maximise sponsorship opportunities, Convenzis was keen to dedicate a larger space to its growing number of exhibitors, as well as offer innovative food options to drive further conversations between delegates and exhibitors.
With the company keen to attract a greater number of delegates, it was also essential that the venue was easily accessible and in close proximity to public transport and budget hotels for attendees travelling from further afield.
Building on our long-term relationship with Convenzis, we were keen to present a solution that would accommodate the client’s expanded requirements and meet all objectives.
Collaborating with the organiser, we took an alternative approach to this year’s conferences.
On days one and two, 15Hatfields' contemporary ground floor Elements Suite (Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Sustain) was utilised to great effect as an exhibition space for sponsors as well as catering for 160 delegates. While the conference was held in our recently refurbished lower ground Ozone space.
To ensure Convenzis had sufficient space to host more sponsors and 300 delegates on day three, we suggested a change in set up. This saw the ground floor Elements Suite hosting the plenary while the Ozone room served as a space for networking, discussing opportunities with sponsors, and enjoying a menu of delicious street food-style dishes.
Our state-of-the-art AV facilities, including built-in Intelligent Crestron control system and Logitech Rally plus modular video conferencing system, allowed clear delivery of speaker messages and AV specialists remained on-hand to provide technical support.
Convenzis applauded our flexible approach to providing the perfect space for all parties attending, from speakers to sponsors and delegates.
Location was also a key consideration for the conference host, with our close proximity to mainline train stations, car parks and the underground being a huge advantage.
Speaking on the success of the event, Sean McLaughlin, Director at Convenzis, said:
“15Hatfields gave us the flexibility to utilise all the rooms within the venue, swapping over how we wanted to use each floor and creating a comfortable environment for all attending. The relationship between Convenzis and 15Hatfields is strong and we tackle each challenge together. 15Hatfields is invested in our success and we are invested in theirs.”
Convenzis’ Director of Operations, Matthew Snape, added:
“We are always looking at new ways to improve our events and we always look at feedback from previous events and how we can improve the delegate and sponsor experience.”
Convenzis was so pleased with the outcome, it has since booked multiple events at 15Hatfields through to the end of 2024 and are looking at dates for the 2025 event calendar in the coming months.
