Back in 2008 he spearheaded the inception of 15Hatfields with support from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and under his helm it has successfully evolved into central London’s leading sustainable venue.
With an infectious and genuine passion for sustainability, Warren champions best practice in business meetings and events, not just at the venue, but in the wider industry. Never one to be content with the status quo, Warren regularly provides guidance and thought leadership to the sector.
In addition to a long list of enviable sustainable credentials and achievements as well as a fantastic 60% repeat client base, the last two and a half years have seen Warren pioneer and champion a mission to become the UK’s first venue to be entirely palm oil free as part of 15Hatfields’ commitments to the UN Sustainability Goals.
While this initiative has temporarily hit the buffers due to labelling changes by the UK Food Standards Agency caused by the conflict in Ukraine, he has remained determined to still push the boundaries. He has transparently shared the venue’s work in this area to date as he is a firm believer that setting a blueprint for others to follow should not be easy and is determined to influence supply chains to achieve their 100% palm oil free mission.
Warren Campbell, general manager of 15Hatfields, said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted for this accolade. It is a huge honour not only for me but for my entire committed team who work tirelessly to adopt new practices and technologies to streamline the venue’s environmental impact. It’s fantastic that this work has been formally recognised by Greengage. We’re now looking forward to the award ceremony in January.”
The winners will be revealed at the Greengage Insights and Sustainability Awards on 26 January 2023.
