Microbiological Criteria for Food with an emphasis on Listeria monocytogenes
What will the course cover?
- The general requirements of Regulation (EC) No. 2073/2005 on the microbiological criteria of foodstuffs
- Specific requirements relating to L. monocytogenes (criteria 1.1 – 1.3)
- practical interpretation and application of the requirements to help food business compliance
- discussion and case studies to illustrate key points
Who should attend?
Local authority food safety officers in England, responsible for official controls of chilled food products, who want to update and refresh their knowledge and the practical application of microbiological criteria requirements.
How much does it cost?
These courses are free to delegates, subject to availability for one nominated member of staff per local authority. Additional places may become available and waiting lists will be managed via FSAtraining@cieh.org.

This event is accredited with 5 hours and 30 minutes of CIEH CPD.
